@inthehands @nightdream For anybody interested in this, I think Loewen's book "Sundown Towns" is very much worth reading. The way he weaves together hard census data with history and anecdote really changed my understanding of America.

@inthehands @nightdream Calling it a history project is charitable. There doesn't appear to be documentation for why towns are listed. I'm not denying the existence or prevalence of sundown towns, but that site demonstrates abysmal scholarship.
