What does the German word "Lenkigkeit" mean and is it accurately a proper German word?

I have reasons to believe that this term only exists within VW and only occasionally manages to escape into the rest of the world like here

@mxk It sounds like the steering rod of a bike? Like "Lenker".
Or something like the steering wheel in a car "Lenkrad". But I can only guess the meaning. Like "Gelenkigkeit" it could be how easy it is to steer. How much force you need to turn the steering thingy around?

@mxk In this context, I would assume it describes which side the steering wheel is mounted (in a vehicle) and no, I don't think it is a real word...

@mxk in meinem Fachgebiet gibt es viele deutsche Fachbegriffe, die einfach 1:1 ins englische übersetzt wurden. Ich hab auf deutsch studiert und als ich anfing, fachvorträge auf englisch zu halten, hab ich oft gedacht „nie im Leben ist das das richtige Wort!“
