After a few hours of work, I updated my neovim config (https://github.com/perrito666/vimconfig) please do not take it as an example I have no clue what I am doing.
I went for full neovim since i do not use this in computers with old vim/vi (I use default config if I stumble upon). It was a long due update since I try to use it more, sadly this does not work on my work computer which is not a debian so ill have to apply it by hand (even though what is there looks like this but messy)
