I'm back on Mastodon, so I'm going to repost my #introduction!
I am employed by Google Cloud to work on open source observability tooling. I am a codeowner of the hostmetricsreceiver and member of the System Semantic Conventions Working Group in OpenTelemetry, and an active contributor to Fluent Bit. On the side, I created and maintain github.com/google/yamlfmt
Outside of tech, I'm a musician, gamer, and martial artist (on hiatus for health issues).

I don't know if this is something you'd find cool to hear, but Mastodon itself recently switched to OpenTelemetry. https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/30240
Not my area of expertise at all but I'll follow anyway, let's see how that goes. 
@julian Very cool, thanks for sharing! I've met the folks working on the Ruby side of things in the OTel project and they do great work, so I'm happy to see the adoption!
