I *really* don't like these Veo scooters in my city. Everything from having public transit provided by a private company, to the fact you have to download an app to use them, to the fact people leave them in the worst places (as shown here) annoys me.
@reillypascal they're good sources of batteries and motors though

@MLE_online at any rate, I can imagine the batteries and motors would be quite nice
@reillypascal people also floor them on the sidewalks which is super dangerous for pedestrians and people exiting doors onto the sidewalk
one almost hit my kids last yr when we were in the twin cities
@reillypascal IIRC Paris banned rental scooters, and I applaud that because they create more problems than they solve. For example, drunk driving on those things is a huge issue.
I also hate the concept because you can't transport any luggage on them.
