Thankful to my brother for giving me a first name (his name is Adrian) that has good SEO, works in many cultural contexts and geographies.
Spanish and Portuguese and Indonesian speakers say it the Spanish way
Everyone else in the Anglo way (eh instead of ah)
I also have a Chinese name that I only use in a completely different cultural context (only when I speak Mandarin / Teochew / Korean).
@skinnylatte
I haven't spent much time in heavily Spanish speaking places, and when I was in Tijuana/San Diego at the beginning of this month, my driver told me she didn't know how to pronounce my name. 'J' and 'll' sound very different in Spanish settings than English or French settings.
@skinnylatte @JillsJoy I just said that exact word aloud.
