I have a family curry recipe that is basically curried tomatoes.
It only occurred to me recently that it's not far off chicken tika masala. Just doesn't have the yogurt in.
@cavyherd @PJ_Evans@mas.to soy sauce and fish sauce enhances anything with a tomato base, including many curries and even pasta sauce. You don’t taste it at all, it just tastes fuller bodied
Interesting. Reminds me of my mother's trick for a "meatier" tasting gravy: add a dollop of peanut butter.
