@skinnylatte I think we're on the same page. I mean US (and other "passport privilege") borders should be fully open, even moreso than other borders were to folks with passport privilege, to absolutely everyone, without any document requirements.

This is a concrete issue for right now, we don’t have any political material or capacity to move towards an abstract ideology

I was trying to say I'm not going to participate in that discourse but instead seek to move the Overton window.
@skinnylatte And FWIW "call ICE" is unconditionally wrong/evil regardless of what a person did. Arguably there are some situations where you have to call normal police despite ACAB, but there is never a justification to call ICE.
@dalias @skinnylatte If I'm ever asked "How to solve the crisis at the border", I'd say, "Step one: give members of ICE and the Border Patrol 24 hours to resign".
