Dear Fediverse, what do I use to replace iTerm2?

Jon (Snarf) Mason

@krono Alacritty seems worth a look. I know some Linux users who use it. I've never seriously contemplated anything other than iTerm until today, but it has got a macOS version.

@snarfmason @krono I used Alacritty for a few years but got tired of manually installing/updating. They didn't build for Linux at the time and there weren't any packages. But it was fast and v v nice.

My Linux machines are on sway now and I use the packaged foot. On my Mac I use @wez's wezterm and I'd say it's more friendly towards developers as users than Alacritty.
