Proton uses a trustless architecture. End-to-end encryption and zero access encryption means we cannot decrypt your messages and hand them over to governments.
Your privacy is mathematically ensured, and no election can change that.
@protonprivacy yeah, but your CEO has been making statements in support of a right-wing authoritarian government, so…?
Source, please...?
@Woland @protonprivacy google it. There's plenty of articles.
Still, when saying that, the bare minimum is to source.
And I prefer to browse it rather than google it
@pixplz It's a toot, not a source...
Thank you very much! :)
We shouldn't have to beg for it online, and conversations would be so more honest and enlighting with good sourcing and context.
Thanks for making the effort
@Woland @thisismissem @protonprivacy don't trust the source you may be given when you can easily find one with your own means
@s_wilson @thisismissem @protonprivacy
It's not about trusting, it's about having something concrete to study and investigate, and common ground to talk.
Basic #criticalthinking methodology
@Woland sure, demand sources for a thing that didn't take major threads with replies on three-plus different social media (mastodon and bluesky, where @protonprivacy deleted their bone-headed messaging after push-back, and reddit, where the ceo doubled down on his endorsement for trump and his nominate; and probably x, that i don't check if i don't need to).
use your search field. use search engines. do research on your own.
if you need to sea lion this thing, try to sea lion something that's less visible, less documented and not a fucking major controversy.
(or you could have chosen to not sealion at all, but i understand that not replying is a terrible ordeal for reply humans).
@thisismissem @Woland @protonprivacy
don't ... google ... it ! soon, it is probably pro-trump search engine. and collect your data in the process.
@zetabeta @thisismissem @Woland@mamot.fr @protonprivacy they already do
@thisismissem @Woland @protonprivacy hopefully there are better search engines than G00gle
