This is just so delicious!
DeSantis lied to migrants to get them on a plane to Massachusetts as a political stunt. Because they were victims of that crime, they were eligible to apply for legal status as the victim of trafficking. They can now live and work legally in the US!

Personally, I think this is delicious. However, viewed from above, I see how DeSantis will make hay with it.
@skydog @unicorndeburgh Well, he and the right-wingers in general are already accusing the US of having open borders and giving migrants everything on a silver platter. If they're going to spew that kind of bullshit *anyway*, the migrants might as well at least get visas.
@unicorndeburgh it's not everyday i want to thank this guy, but hey, everything happens
@unicorndeburgh why the FUCK is victims in quotes in that headline
@unicorndeburgh they are legally the victims of trafficking but the trafficker isn't legally responsible as the perpetrator of human trafficking?
Two legal systems.
@unicorndeburgh I wonder why newsweek used the sarcastic quotes around "victims".
@unicorndeburgh Congratulations to the latest graduate from FAFO Academy!
@unicorndeburgh
Ich würde mal sagen: Gefickt eingeschädelt.
Florida and Texas Republicans should shoulder every penny of that cost.
@unicorndeburgh Excellent. They will start paying taxes.
@unicorndeburgh
Ah, if there could be such a law in Europe for the prime ministers who send the immigrants to Rwanda, Albania, Libya...
@unicorndeburgh Thanks for sharing, that made my day. I hope that one of them will become a democratic senator in Florida one day.
@unicorndeburgh He wears those goofy boots because he's shot himself in the foot so many times.
@unicorndeburgh Gosh, I sure hope Disney World hires them…
@unicorndeburgh And the wonderful thing is this is good for the country. We have tons of jobs and need lots more workers, and these will fit right in.
