I’m looking to get my #homelab set up again and am looking into #virtualization solutions for my VM server. What are some good free (preferably #opensouce )#linux based virtualization platforms? My last setup was Proxmox and I am leaning that way, but would like to look into all the possibilities before I finalize things.
@AnnaInSask there”s #TrueNASScale which offers VM functionality and Docker (via Kubernetes). But it’s VM capabilities and features currently can’t compete with “pure” hypervisors.

@AnnaInSask (It can also run virtualized inside e.g. Proxmox, given a dedicated HBA to pass-through storage media. All hail #ZFS.)
