Kind of a shocking red card in the 29th minute. Michael Boxall and Guillermo Martinez were fighting for position at the top of the penalty area. Boxall appeared to have a hold of Martinez, but the VAR decided that he'd swung a fist into the back of the Puebla striker.
Didn't look like anything too out of the ordinary in a physical game, but Martinez went down immediately, and after review, Honduran referee Selvin Brown showed Boxall the red.
I don't know, I'm not a seasoned soccer observer, but it's hard for me to look at that and not see Boxall unnecessarily socking the Puebla player in the kidney. To be clear, I'm a diehard #MNUFC fan.
