The car behind me started whaling on their horn like it was going out of style and the car coming towards me on the other side of the intersection decided that they’d take advantage of my pause and zoom through the intersection—nearly colliding with the cyclist and then nearly colliding with me when I took my turn after the cyclist had cleared.
