I like my knobs, dials and buttons.
@puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social my microwave is entirely mechanical :foxopeek:
@puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social yes I did spend $15 more just to get a microwave with plain knobs
no I don't regret it. best microwave I've ever owned.
@Jessica @puppygirlhornypost2 I need one with real knobs but also real variable power level for the magnetron not 15s bangbang control.
@dalias@hachyderm.io @puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social that's too much work just get a less powerful microwave
@dalias@hachyderm.io @puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social I can also argue by the time you are using specific Microwave power levels you'd probably be better off using an air fryer or toaster oven (or combo)
But best I could do you is a Toshiba inverter microwave air fryer that's $300 and has a knob but it's still digital. Probably has something to do with the tech required to pull it off or something
@Jessica @puppygirlhornypost2 Reheating most food does best with lower power levels, but it's impossible to dial in the right power level when its cycling between sizzling/boiling and doing nothing rather than being able to turn the knob until it stops doing that.
