Meeting yesterday gave me #adhd #overwhelm. Partly a to-do thing, partly an expectations vs imposter thing?
I guess the good news is that now I can identify this feeling as being part of me, not part of the situation.
Or maybe that's bad. Reacting to overwhelm often panicked me into action. "Relax, this feeling will pass" will eventually get me fired.
Time to search for a Secret Third Way!
Start with to-do lists for ME TODAY and for PROJECT UPCOMING.
Yes sir, brain!
Also, I really, really, really, REALLY need a whiteboard in my new office.
It helps with making a to-do list, it helps keep the to-do list in front of me AND it's something to do with my body while I think.
They say they are working on it but WORK FASTER I"M OVERWHELMED
(he said in a web browser comment box, while mentally composing toots about guitars and jamming to edm in headphones)
