@drewmcmanus Interesting that "a slow and steady climb" is used as a metaphor for aging. I find that I mostly encounter aging being described as "going downhill."
@drewmcmanus Something that surprised me as a parent was that the growth process was a bunch of step changes, rather than a steady slope (they’re crabby for a couple of weeks then come out of it speaking full sentences, for example.) So it doesn’t surprise me ageing is the same.
