I finished this last night. Three more to go. These have been challenging for me, requiring a lot of careful planning. They are destined to help hold the hatch in place in a submarine and are made from aluminum. They were too big for our lathes so I did them entirely on the mill.

A shiny half circle with a flat top and a rounded convex wall. The flat top has a series holes for bolts. There is a red hand broom visible for scale.
A shiny half circle with a flattish inner perimeter and countersunk holes for bolts. The wall to the outer perimeter is rounded but tilts up at something like 45 degrees.

I had it waterjetted from plate to an oversized crescent with ears that I used for workholding (sort of window machining).
