I don’t know what the heck Ruth Marcus is talking about, in her new column on the latest :

“the potential problems inherent in bringing such successive prosecutions. Under the Petite policy, named for a 1960 Supreme Court case, noting the need ‘to protect persons charged with criminal conduct from the burdens associated with multiple prosecutions’”

She’s worried this is going to be unfairly burdensome on Donald Trump? Does she not remember anything that’s happened since 2016?

He’s unfairly burdened millions of Americans. If he is burdened, it is perfectly fair. In fact no burden we can impose on him could possibly be enough to achieve justice
