Unscathed after a noisy night of #StormEowyn here in western Ireland, but many local roads are blocked by trees, and we're not expecting the power and water to return for a couple of days based on past experience and the extent of disruption nationwide.
Now at 38 hours without power and water due to #StormEowyn, it appears service will take another 54 hours to resume, sigh. It's super nice to live in the countryside, but this will make 8 days without power and water since April.
Apparently restoring power and water to our area could now take until Feb 5 (!), so we'll be moving into a short term town rental for a while, and why have one landlord when you can have two? #StormEowyn
So on top of the lost power and water, we woke up to find our car had a very flat tyre, adding to the stress and drama. Thanks to the local chat group, a random guy soon came round in his van, repaired the tyre casually on the spot with a plug, and we were on our way. Almost cried with relief. A+ community!
When you're away from home with a kitten and you have to charge your critical devices...

@sanityinc does it please the cats because of the catnip or they like it without?
@kototama without any cat nip it is still among the many objects our kitten likes to fight
