One person who really changed my life: KC Davis from StruggleCare.
She has a video over there called 'how to do laundry when you're depressed", and her book 'How to Keep House While Drowning'
Until I came across her work, I'd never seen or heard anyone say 'cleanliness is not a morality issue' and then provide very clear information on how to be gentle with yourself.
I found her through an ADHD support group but honestly I think everyone should hear her
This page has an overview of her philosophy but her videos (on youtube, tiktok, ig etc) are bite-sized and super useful and compelling
@skinnylatte I used to watch her on Instagram before that platform became unusable for me. Thank you for the reminder about her, I found her incredibly helpful, too.
