My dear friends @alex_schl and @MlleSophiePofie are delivering a keynote on conflict at Agile Testing Days this year.
They need your input, so if you have time to answer three questions please do so here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdT6cn_3exU2w4cHAlHycbxm9r1txbs0XlEsHJ37W85l-NVwA/viewform
Boosts appreciated!
@jogi because it took me less time and effort than writing this reply
@alex_schl #privacy is not 0 brainer
@jogi @alex_schl And helpful comments are usually written in a different style. What's your point exactly?
You asked why it's Google and got an answer.
If you're not happy with it then move along and don't answer the questionnaire or offer alternatives for next time or at least explain why you're unhappy with the answer.
If you want to change people's minds throwing around condescending one liners will not work out.
@the_qa_guy @jogi I guess this is a good time to practice that conflict resolution stuff we'll be talking about.
It looks like we place different importance on the principle of privacy here. That's ok. Google was fine for our needs & I'm also fine with you disagreeing. I'm aware of reasons why people don't use it and understand that might mean that some don't respond. I'm also ok with that. 1/2
I interpreted your responses as rather aggressive, and I yet can imagine they probably came from a place of wanting to make people aware. That's all I have to say on this.
Tobi, , as ever I am grateful for you.
@alex_schl @the_qa_guy we are all testers I was too short in my answer, sorry.
@the_qa_guy @alex_schl will do so. I‘m unhappy that we as testers often also use the fast way but do not think about privacy issues. That Google‘s Business is our data, our behavior is known, isn‘t it? Hey, that is one of the reasons why we left the big platforms.
