So getting on a long flight today, i was smart and decided to preload some games on my steam deck for the flight. Figured i could try the 4th mass effect.
So i installed it at home, made sure it finished downloading all the things.
Getting on the plane, trying to start it:
- EA Launcher: "Downloading some stuff".
Ohno.
Now even after hotspotting off my phone so it can grab whatever eula crap it wanted, the pos launcher is not running. It just opens a blank window titled EA and shuts down.
Why must ea just demolish anything it touches? Guess I'm not playing this today
To be fair, i can't tell if it's crap at loading the text on a slow connection, or just entirely incompetent at running on the steam deck at all. Either way, I'm so glad i have my library book with me.

@zigdon oh fun! I read the first one ~30 years ago but not sure I kept up with the series. (or, possibly, I read a random one from the middle without realizing it WAS from a series, which is a problem I had a lot at the time)
