Finished splitting out the #ultrafeeder from the #piaware pod. Even gave it it's own namespace so only those pods have elevated privileges to access the #SDR plugged into the #USB port. Both feeders are now connecting to that pod. Also started enabling #MLAT for bonus points, but had to give those pods a lot more CPU becausing that turns out to be very timing sensitive

Compare that to @monocles / #monoclesChat which don't demand any PII or KYC and allow people to pay for their services with #Monero and #CashByMail besides #SEPA #WireTransfer, #Stripe & #PayPal whilst supporting both decentralization (#XMPP is not a #SingleVendor / #SingleProvider solution!), implementing real #SelfCustody (#OMEMO, #OTR & #PGP is supported out of the box) for all the keys, and proper #Anonymitiy (using @torproject / #Tor & @guardianproject #Orbot for #privacy), so in case they ever get a duely sumitted warrant by a court they'd have to comply with, they'll most likely have no data whatsoever on clients that could allow identification.
Also having no PII is a matter of reducing #liability in the sense of #DataProtection: All data requested and by #monocles is the bare minimum mandated for #accounting (i.e. only linking a payment like a #TxID / Transaction-ID to an account and then adding up validity/activation period).

Superpuma aborted search flight above Beringen and returned to Dübendorf. It wasn't possible to triangulate it's position for a few kilometers - either not enough receivers or they switched the transponder off to take a shortcut across the German enclave.

Hrm. Trying to setup #TheAirTraffic on my #ADSB #RaspberryPi which also feeds several other ADSB aggregators. the #MLAT service is working fine but the ADS-B Beast service isn't feeding The Air Traffic. I'm not smart enough to know why and the forum is locked away in Discord which I don't have nor want.
Anyone have any ideas?
