Thank you to a new donor, and an extra gift from a subscriber - we're able to refill the gas in the truck, and get a couple gallons for our chainsaws.
Which is great! It lets us do important work!
But also means we'll need more funds before too long. I'd love to stay ahead of it, and not end up with downtime because no one has money to get more gas.

How about let's try this:
You wanna make this software funded by telecom companies stand for something? Maybe pick something you'd be proud to tell kids about when you're old...
...if #climatechange doesn't wipe us out first. Which is a good segue to, it's #Indigenous ways of living that have protected so much land, and we are willingly providing the model for how to adapt to changes we're all experiencing.
Think of it this way: A lot of y'all have some portion of your income invested in the status quo. That's a fair bet: it's been around your whole life and then some (but not much longer, tbh).
But I'd suggest this: diversify your portfolio. If you're investing in capitalism (and any investment with capital *is*) - considering investing in alternative economic systems, like #MutualAid, #IndigenousMutualAid.
If you're investing in settler-colonialism (and any participation in settlerism *is*) - considering investing in alternative social systems - #IndigenousAutonomy, #IndigenousSovereignty
There's all sorts of ways to support this stuff - check the thread this is in reply to for some info about what support I need.
