The more I work with Code Composer Studio 20 the worse it looks. CCS launches with a ccs-server app in the background. Whenever ccs-server crashes the main CCS app will not allow me to _save_ the files I am editing. I am therefore not able to commit them.

I need to vent. Texas Instruments shipped a new version of Code Composer Studio with no option to create an empty project . The issue is known to them (for a few years now) and they plan to patch it approximately in May. Why the fuck would they ship it without such a basic feature? Why not delay the release? There is a workaround but it only works on Windows. I had to patch a bash script to make it work on macOS.
