RE: "Microsoft employee disrupts 50th anniversary and calls AI boss ‘war profiteer’"
It takes a lot of courage to stand up against wrong. Kudos Ibtihal Aboussad! AI should not be used for warfare.
RE: "Please stop externalizing your costs directly into my face"
AI training is controversial at best. If you say AI is trained fair you're either very blind to the reality of things, or very naive - or both. None of the big AI tools are trained ethically, and this example from SourceHut just shows it.

RE: "On Organizing"
A superb overview of organising. The article contains a well of knowledge and references, and starts strong with evidence that non-violent revolutions have a higher success rate than violent ones.

This video explaining the German Enigma machine is amazing. Great job with the 3D model and the animation.
Writing's on the wall, I think. I've been arguing for years the niche and authentic are the places to be. Communities of practice and genuine interest are becoming the only time worth spending. https://buff.ly/3VnwXsA #linkblog
