Eli and I had a little adventure to Hamlin Beach in the middle of winter

I really liked how eerie the beach looks with the snow and the approaching clouds

We also stopped by Braddock Point Light (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Braddock) a historical lighthouse from 1896 that for a time had been converted into a bed and breakfast

While the primary reason I got a Google Pixel was to run GrapheneOS, both Eli and I were pleasantly surprised by the camera quality. This was our first outing since I got it and I had fun being the photographer

There is a app on Aurora that takes better advantage of the Pixel camera, but I can't for the life of me remember the name.

It offers far more settings and flexibility and takes amazingly clear photos. Well worth checking out.

I suggest a YouTube search is your friend, that's how I found it.

It works without GMS or Playstore too.

@avoca is it Gcam by any chance? That's what was showing up when I looked on YouTube.

@reillypascal

No. I had to hunt for it again, but I found it. - Open Camera.

Lot's of YouTube vids about it that generally rate it highly in the Android world. Definately works without GMS or Google Play Services because I use it with my Pixel 8a on GOS.
