FINALLY!!! A weird song from #Estonia in English about a lot of Italian things and called ‘Espresso Machiato’.

This is weird, fun, & catchy!

#France is doing another ballad.

The singer is suspended 50ft above a field. It looks scary af & she’s killing it.

That’s the only interesting thing about this song.

Methinks France doesn’t want to win/host next year.

#Malta gets credit for a funny intro. It’s not a ballad & has reggaeton beats.

Not bad.

#Greece with ANOTHER depressing ballad (and a power ballad at that).

Another one with no chance of winning out being listened to after the show.

#Georgia’s kicking it old school broadway style.

Not bad, it might be great live performance.

#Spain’s ok. It’s another pop vocal over euro beats entry. The contest has a couple of these every year - not bad but not memorable either.

#Italy with a pop song straight out of the 70s accompanied by a funny video with a great story!

#SanMarino with a cheesy song that has something to do with tomato sauce & DJs.

Emphasis on ‘cheesy’, which is a big plus.

A poppy edm number from #Iceland with some folk violin thrown in.

Ok, not great but points for not singing in English.

#Croatia has a Disney villain singing a song called ‘Poison Cake’.

Not bad, reluctantly.

#Ireland sent a eurodance song about the space dog Laika from a kid’s perspective.

It’s better than a ballad.

#Latvia’s got hikers who turn into Galadriels with wire sculptures on their faces.

I have no idea what’s going on, which is usually a good sign.
