Rey is laying down as my kid plays a baseball game. In the shade, she looks towards the camera as I call her name.
She's a pure breed mutt, husky, german shepherd, pittbull, and rottweiler.

We went to the park so my kid could play. Rey is sad that she isn’t going to her dog park that is across the parking lot.
Rey is standing on all four paws, wearing her halter and leash. Staring at where she wants to be.
She sometimes moves, but then adds a soft whine.
It’s cooking time. Rey is supervising and waiting to do a taste test for quality.
Rey with her mostly white fur is laying on our brown couch, with her front legs resting on the arm rest. She is staring intently at the food being prepared off camera.
Rey is keeping me company as I learn to write #RustLang. But she starts staring at me.
It's still mostly theory and demo code. I'll want to make some toy projects with it soon.
Rey again has hopped into the bunkbed. She's poking her nose out the side of it, in the space behind my laptop screen. Sniffing the air of what's outside the window.
Rey had fun playing at the dog park this morning. She was a bit bigger then the other dog, so she chased them around, jumping just a bit to get even taller.
After visiting the dog park this morning, we went on a walk around the park as a reward for getting on the leash.
Rey is sitting at the bottom of the photo, mid scratching of itch. We are on a dirt trail next to some grass, with many power lines above us.
Rey didn’t get to go to the dog park today. She has extra energy, she’s run around in the backyard several times tonight.
Here she is mid-pounce on the pillow on the couch protecting my hand. Her front legs have motion blur, and a bit of her ears are too, but her face and snout are still and in focus.
With all the rain in SoCal lately, Rey hasted gotten as much activity. Just now, I was treated with her being a love bug, and me being a body pillow.
I was resting in bed, and I asked her to come up. She did, then laid down next to me, resting her head on my chest. (Pictured below)
Unfortunately, it was less then a minute. She got up, hopped down, and curled up at the side of the bed like she normally does.
Rey and I tried to go to the dog park today. It was still closed because of the recent rain. So we went on a short walk, and then found another dog that she plays with at the park. We let them both off the leash to run, wrestle, and play in the baseball/soccer field.
The dog park was still closed because of recent rains, so we played on the baseball/soccer field again.
Here she is on that field, wearing her halter. And plenty of mud. Her white fluffy neck is now grey/brown. Her face has a light coating of mud too. And her legs have lost the white color too.
Rey was laying in the bed behind my desk. She was keeping an eye on me as my supervisor.
Same bed, different view.
I’m relaxing in bed after work, and Rey is keeping me company.
I wasn’t able to get a picture of her sleeping, but the first picture still has her laying in bed, staring at the camera.
The other has her alert, with face and neck cast in dark shadows from the light directly above.
We don’t know Rey’s birthday, so a friend recommended we do today.
I love the two tone lighting on Rey as she keeps me company. Overhead LED for the head, vs summer sun blue sky light on the rest of her.
Rey kept me company in bed. She used the body pillow to rest her head, and would only sometimes open her eyes to see why I was moving.
It’s been hot here. So Rey hasn’t been to the dog park that often. And I haven’t played as much with her.
So tonight she’s trotting around the back yard, panting a bunch, but still having a blast.
