@wcooperbooks My hypothesis is that most people alive in the US currently--especially those in the higher socioeconomic classes--have never experience life outside #TheBubbleOfPrivilege. I grew up in abject poverty. Homeless at times. I can see and have experienced #Variation. Inside #TheBubbleOfPrivilege it's broadly homogeneous. Moreover, they project what they have been exposed to and beLIEve it will just continue.
