Not All Generics Are Created Equal: Study Exposes a 54% Higher Risk in imported generics from emerging economies like India

The results show that all generic drugs are not equal, even though patients are often told that they are, said John Gray, co-author of the study and professor of operations at The #Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business.

The issue seems to stem from regulatory oversight differences, as FDA inspections abroad are prearranged, potentially hiding quality concerns.

Republicans want healthcare. -- Surprised?

Last night, while working on Meta, I saw the same thing I have been seeing for years. Conservative Republicans want healthcare, and the type of healthcare they want is pretty spot on for the type of healthcare Europe has.

Some of them even liked the "Affordable Healthcare Act" despite its flaws. But the moment they hear, "Obama Care" they freak out. The Affordable Healthcare Act, was Obama Care -It was just an odd name party leaders gave to discredit the whole thing.

As a progressive, I am often surprised on how often we agree. But the problem I see with many conservatives is they get into that "cult of personality" and even get into fighting semantics on silly titles and names.

It is no wonder the wealthy want us at each other's throats. Because united, we could and would likely have healthcare, today. That is something, we the people, want.

But if you're the CEO of a multi-billion dollar corporation, the idea of public healthcare, scares you because it means you're not making billions by exploiting people and their need to survive. Because let's be honest, people will pay nearly anything, even if they cannot afford to do so, just to live.

"Being non-disabled doesn’t mean you won’t suffer the catastrophic impacts of #Covid or #climatechange. It doesn’t mean that supply chain issues or #medication shortages won’t cause you #harm. It just means it will take longer before you feel the #pain of these #events. You have a buffer that people like me don’t.

That buffer is a gift.

You could use the #time you have while you’re still #safe, #healthy and resilient to push for #accountability..."

My entire life I thought I was suffering from #migraine headaches constantly.

#medication does not help them at all which was confusing to me, until I started trying to talk to other people online with severe #tourettes and saw a few TV interviews where they described a similar problem.

They aren't migraines. They're my nervous system freaking out from suppression of tics too much, and look similar.

They are happening less the more I learn to relax in public.

@whknott Constantly. All I do is work out when I am bored and my casual stroll usually involves at least 1000 stairs and a few giant hills in Los Angeles.

I do yoga, I am a dancer, and stretching really helps because my tics never stop. So I get very sore.

Though I am accidentally very #fit as a result of having severe #tourettes motor tics so I am happy with that at least.

I have to keep moving all day until I sleep or I am literally in pain even on #medication

The biggest reason the chaos in the #usa scares me is because I CANNOT live without #medication and a whole lot of #help putting my mind back together still.

I went through an extremely #traumatic few years.

Before that I wasn't doing well anyway.

If I don't have these meds and help, I am in so much pain I can't think.

I #panic constantly and can't stay inside because it terrifies me, then literally walk until I go insane from sleep deprivation.
